V44V - Visegrad Fours for Volunteering is a project implemented with the support of the Visegrad Fund by Talentum Foundatin and further four partner organizations.

Our general goal is to build a virtual network in order to encourage the volunteering based development of society with increased participation, while promoting volunteering, opening new gates for joint development in v4 countries along the identified common interest and differences.

The survey observes volunteering along the further subjects: history, present structure, strategic thinking towards volunteering, statistics, from service to recognition, attitudes. For each theme some common features were collected since 1989 based on the experiences, attitudes of the participating organizations and their partners or the data available. In the given period the following four years as reference points were selected:

- 1989: change of regimes

- 2004: EU enlargement

- 2011: European Year of Volunteering

- 2014: recent changes

The main aim was to observe and compare the past and present activities in order to define the challenges of the future in the field of volunteering, providing a great base for future co-operations.

The webpage was established to share the findings and experiences of the given countries and their organizations, even though not the whole research is published some peculiar similarities and major differences are underlined which can well present volunteering to the wider public.

On the main webpage of the project further volunteering opportunities and good practices are available.

The webpage is interactive with clicking you can reach new charts, links and windows.
